The story
I started as a warehouse worker at 19 years old, and spent the next 32 years working my way through every level of warehouse and supply chain operations.
I’ve managed warehouses, distribution networks and supply chain functions across furniture, technology and fashion retail — eventually leading world-class operations supporting thousands of stores and hundreds of millions of units annually.
Throughout my career I discovered that operational improvement rarely comes from a single metric, a software package or a consultant’s report. The best operators learn to see how labour, inventory, capacity, systems, layout and people interact as one connected system.
